Built On Tradition

45th Street Tattoo has been in business in Northwest Indiana since 2007. We pride ourselves on being a "Walk-in" style shop, with experienced tattooers known for their custom work. There's no tattoo too big or too small; from a simple design to the full-body coverage, we can accommodate all. Our clientele comes from all walks of life.

Our artists share over 100+ years of combined experience, covering a wide variety of styles. All of our tattooers are true artists who paint their own tattoo flash and our shop walls display many one of a kind Souvenirs.

We’re open 7 days week, and our shop hours are 12pm-8pm. Walk-ins are available every day but we also take appointments.

We have thousands of designs to select from or you are free to bring in your own design.

At the heart of our work is tradition, the kind that is passed down through hands, stories, and time. Combined with our many years of experience, we share a deep passion and respect for the history of tattooing and of those who have come before us. This is reflected in our shared collection of original vintage artwork and tattoo artifacts on display at the shop.

At 45th Street Tattoo, we take our craft seriously. From building and tuning our own machines to collaborating with respected tattooers, shops, and communities around the world, we remain dedicated to preserving the traditions of tattooing while continuing to push the craft forward.

Glen Park Plaza - Griffith Indiana - 45th Street

Located in the heart of Glen Park Plaza in Griffith, 45th Street Tattoo has proudly served Northwest Indiana and the surrounding communities since 2007. Our shop is built on a passion for quality tattooing, a respect for the rich history of the craft, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for every client. With more than 75 years of combined experience, our artists specialize in a wide range of styles, from custom designs and traditional tattoos to large-scale projects and cover-ups.
